Healthcare Studio

With this healthcare studio project, I worked with a team for the research portion of the project and completed the construction drawings, specifications and renderings on my own. This universal access center for cerebral palsy patients was to support people of all ages with various CP treatment needs. It was critical to create a space that felt welcoming and not sterile, to promote wellness and a positive outlook. Parameters for this project included square footage allocations per treatment department, FF&E specification standards to meet or exceed, ADA codes requirements and the exterior floor plan. Construction drawings including a dimensioned floor plan, reflected ceiling plan, life safety plan, data and electrical plan, detailed elevations, wall type sections, reception desk section detail, and finish plan were drafted. Due to this project being my capstone before graduation, I presented my final construction documents and renderings in a printed exhibition format to my professor and classmates.
